Thesis Paragraph

All the art I have created so far in grad school has the common theme of youthfulness and simplicity. I am attracted to the idea of being able to convey a message with simple means. My characters stare vacantly at the viewer allowing their awkwardness to be examined.

My character design is concerned with the push and pull of linear and curved lines. This dichotomy mirrors my need to seek balance between the left and right sides of my brain.
